Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at rebeccaecjudge@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You can always contact us for any return question at rebeccaecjudge@gmail.com.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method minus any shipping costs. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Workshop and Course/Class Bookings:

Cancellations and Refunds

Full payment for workshops and courses/classes are required at time of booking to secure your place. If there are places left, workshop bookings can be made up to 48 hours in advance of the workshop commencing.

Workshop cancellations by you

If you change your mind about a course or workshop you purchased online or at a distance, you have 14 days from entering into a service contract in which you can cancel it.

This right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations applies regardless of whether the course will be taken online or in person.

If the course/class/workshop starts within the 14 day period, you will still have the right to cancel, but you must pay for the value of the service that was provided to you up to the point you cancel.

The right to cancel will be lost during the cancellation period if the service is provided in full before the 14 days elapses.

I have a clear cancellation policy to ensure that I cover my costs and the ongoing viability of the workshop or course/class.
I urge you to carefully check your diary to ensure that you are available to attend any workshops you are booking with us.

If circumstances change, or something pops up and you are unable to attend, unfortunately all my workshops and classes are generally non-refundable. I liken it to buying a theatre ticket. Most of the work has gone in well ahead of the actual session.

If you cancel a place on a workshop or course/class before it begins your options are as follows:

  • I will be happy to transfer you to another workshop, space permitting.
  • You can of course send someone in your place at any time, but please note that this is your responsibility to find a replacement person. Please let me know in advance who will be attending.
  • A refund may be given if I am able to resell your place and you have given more than 7 days notice.

Workshops and classes bought as gifts are subject to the same cancellation policy.

Some of my classes take place over several sessions. If you miss a session unfortunately we can not offer a make up session. If you require further tuition to complete your project you may be able to book 1:1 lessons depending on the project and tuition required.

If you decide to cancel after you have begun a course of classes outside of the 14 day service contract period, you are not eligible for a refund, nor can you transfer your course place to someone else. Courses are planned and spaces hired well in advance and tailored according to participants present.

Workshop and class/course cancellations by us

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop you will be offered a transfer to another date, voucher to be used at another time or in my online shop, or a full refund. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.

Commercial Use

All work created in classes and workshops are the designs of Rebecca Judge and cannot be used for commercial use, or sold as the work of the participant.

We encourage use of all techniques taught in our workshops and classes in your own art practice both commercially and for hobby purposes, but this does not include use of compositions and designs by Rebecca Judge.
